VILLAGE MISSIONS TO NINGE OUTREACH

NINGE is a village across the Kampolombo river which converges with the Bangweulu river , about an hours paddle by non motorized boat. Here we were going to do an outreach in NINGE. With a boat load of our equipment and speakers. God was gracious and we made it safe back.

ON THE LAKE ENROUTE TO OUR NINGE OUTREACH

This is a picture of our outreach to Ninge, the boat ride was good. We have so far reached over 18 different villages and the need and demand for church Planting and outreach is so overwhelming.

CARRYING OUR EQUIPMENT FROM HARBOR TO THE VILLAGE

We had Mr. Nsonga with a few volunteers from the community helping to carry the equipment into the village. It is a long tedious journey and the speakers are very heavy to carry. The sacrifices made in the pursuit of our divine mandate is so touching. You need to come and be a part of this great service. Many dread to leave the comfort of their homes, to come and share a life of sacrifice here , we use pit latrines , and walk long distances, there are no comforts except the joy of seeing many coming to Christ.

CROWDS STARTING TO GATHER FOR JESUS FILM

After set up we saw the crowd swelling u in preparation for the Jesus Film.We were blessed to lead over 78 people to the Lord

PADDLING THROUGH PERIL: THE CHALLENGES OF FIELD OUTREACH"

After a long day of outreach in Ninge, we strap our gear onto our trusty bicycles and make our way to the harbor to cross the lake. I still recall one dark and stormy night when we were returning from Mabo Village and found ourselves adrift in unfamiliar waters until the wee hours of the morning, from 9pm till 4am. We were lost, carrying our equipment, but by the grace of God, we found our way back to safety. Unfortunately, this was just one of the many challenges that we face in the field. The rough and unpredictable waters make our journey home all the more treacherous. Nevertheless, we soldier on, grateful for our dedicated team who not only set up and pack away all the equipment but also paddle it safely back to base.

OUTREACH TO FISHING CAMP

Many people live in fishing camps and stay there for months till the fishing ban season. The only access to them is by going to their camps and share the word. Here I was in one of the grass houses awaiting the meal after sharing the word. It’s not easy, from the diet , water to drink and all , but we are grateful for the grace of God that allows us to live amongst them and share in their struggle.

CARRYING ONE OF OUR SPEAKERS ACROSS FOR SETTING UP NINGE OUTREACH

VILLAGE OUTREACH MISSIONS

Tired and exhausted after a long trip on lake to share the gospel. There is such a hunger for the gospel. Few churches dare come this far but I thank God for this grace to reach this far and share the word.
